The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra has a long history of celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with an annual concert that has included Coretta Scott King, soprano Jessye Norman, and many other luminaries. The concert has been a national affair, drawing attention to the musical gifts of Atlanta and speaking to Dr. King's legacy.
