Alexandra Price is a junior at Drew Charter School with a strong passion for Mathematics and Science. Her dedication to academics is reflected in her consistent placement on the honor roll.
For the past six years, Alexandra has been a valuable member of the Urban Youth Harp Ensemble, where she has showcased her musical talents. In 2022, she successfully auditioned for free private harp lessons with Angelica Hairston, facilitated by the First Presbyterian Church. Alexandra's performances extend beyond her lessons, as she has performed at prestigious venues such as the Atlanta Harp Center and Spivey Hall, sharing the stage with her teacher, Molly O’Roark.
In 2023, Alexandra joined the Talent Development Program and now studies under the guidance of Ellen Foster. Her musical achievements include participating in the GMEA Solo and Ensemble competition, where she earned 12 superior medals and one excellent medal. She is also a member of the quartet 188 Strings, which has received three superior medals at Solo and Ensemble. Additionally, Alexandra successfully auditioned for All-State, performing in both the 11/12 full orchestra and band.
Outside of music, Alexandra is an active member of the Drew Charter Volleyball team. Looking ahead, she aspires to major in music while continuing her academic and performance pursuits.
