Biography
Alma Mexicana, meaning Mexican Soul, is a group that presents traditional Mexican dances. Based in the Atlanta area, this group has been performing for more than a decade bringing to the audiences joy, music, dances, and culture from different regions of Mexico. Hilda Lucia Estrella de Lev is the director of the Alma Mexicana Danza Folklórica group. Dancing "folklore" for more than 30 years, she completed her professional dance studies at Monterrey Superior School of Music and Dance at the Mexico National Institute of Fine Arts.
