Biography

Dance Canvas is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding awareness and appreciation of professional dance in Atlanta by creating opportunities and platforms for both artists and audiences. With a vision to be the premier launchpad for the next generation of dance makers, Dance Canvas engages the public through interactive and accessible experiences that make dance more relatable and inclusive.

Since its founding in 2008, Dance Canvas has introduced Atlanta audiences to more than 200 emerging professional choreographers and over 500 professional dancers through its celebrated choreographer showcases. The organization’s youth programs have reached over 10,000 students across the Atlanta area, offering hands-on experiences through arts outreach and leadership development.
