Eun Young Jung
Biography
Korean-born violinist Eun Young Jung joined the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in September 2022. She began her violin studies at age nine and earned her Bachelor of Music from Ewha Womans University in South Korea. She continued her education at the Yale School of Music, where she received both a Master's degree and an Artist Diploma as a Stephen and Denise Adams Scholarship recipient. Her principal teachers include Charles Castleman, Hyo Kang, David Kim, and Lisa-Beth Lambert.
Eun Young has collaborated with renowned musicians such as Vadim Repin and Gil Shaham during her time with the Sejong Soloists concert series and recording projects. She has also performed with leading orchestras including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Nashville Symphony Orchestra, Bellingham Festival of Music Orchestra, New Haven Symphony Orchestra, and Miami City Ballet.
Alongside her performing career, Eun Young is committed to education. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at Heritage Preparatory School and coaches at Franklin Pond Chamber Music. She has also taught at institutions like the Frost School of Music, the North Carolina Chamber Music Institute, and the Greater Miami Youth Symphony.
