Lizbeth Yanez

Biography

Lizbeth Yanez is a freelance trumpeter and educator based in Atlanta, Georgia. She has performed with prestigious ensembles, including the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra and Bourbon Baroque. Her work on the documentary “Over There: Hoosier Heroes of the Great War” earned her an Emmy nomination.

In addition to her performance career, Yanez is a dedicated educator with a growing studio in Atlanta. She is passionate about mentoring young trumpet players and actively promotes diversity within the music industry. Yanez holds a bachelor's degree in Trumpet Performance from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music and a master's degree from the Yale School of Music. She has studied under Michael Tiscione, John Rommel, and Kevin Cobb.
