Madison Christian is a freshman at South Cobb High School. She began her musical journey in sixth grade at Cooper Middle School, where she started playing the flute. After six months, her band teacher, Mr. Daney Glover, suggested she try the oboe. She quickly fell in love with the instrument and began private lessons with Emily Gunby.

Madison's early musical education included participating in MidFest during her seventh and eighth-grade years and attending the Athena Band Camp, where she developed leadership skills and musical confidence. In her rising ninth-grade year, she played as principal oboist at the Atlanta Chamber Music Festival.

In 2023, Madison was accepted into the Talent Development Program and began studying with Emily Brebach. Through TDP, she has continued to refine her playing techniques and deepen her skills. Madison aspires to attend a university that will help her pursue a career in music performance.
