Biography

Rodney Lamar Clark Jr. from West Palm Beach, FL. is a Senior at Martha Ellen Stilwell School of the Arts in Clayton County, GA. At the early age of 2 years old Rodney gained a strong interest in percussion instruments and it wasn’t a shock that Rodney would gain a strong love for music. Rodney entered the Talent Development Program (TDP) in August of 2017 and studies under Bill Wilder who is a percussionist for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Rodney has been in band playing percussion since entering middle school and has received several accolades that include, District 4 Honor Band Clayton County Schools three times, All state jazz first round, Statewide jazz, M.S.Y.O. and A.Y.W.S, and Jazz All state 2020. Rodeny is also an active member of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra.
