Stella Reber-Viñas is in the eleventh grade at Academe of the Oaks, where she is a member of the school orchestra. She has been playing cello for 10 years. Stella is currently studying with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra cellist, Ray Kim. Previously, she studied with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Acting Associate/Assistant Principal Cellist, Karen Freer. Stella has been a member of the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra since 2018 and has participated in the Franklin Pond Chamber Music Summer Intensive Program in 2019, 2021, and 2022. She has been a member of the GMEA Statewide Elementary Honor Chorus in 2019, All-State Honor Chorus in 2020, and All-State Middle School Orchestra in 2021 and 2022.
Stella's most meaningful TDP experiences have included performing with her teacher, Karen Freer, at an ASO Insider's Evening, and playing Carlos Simon's "An Elegy: A Cry from the Grave" at the Fall 2022 Musicale with Waverly Alexander and Cairo Wren, violin and Christopher Johnson, viola.
