Tristan Michael Lewis is a junior at Collins Hill High School. He began his musical journey on the cello but switched to the violin in June 2020 after being inspired by its remarkable repertoire. Tristan appreciates the violin's piercing, brilliant sounds and its beautiful, singing qualities.

Initially self-taught for two and a half years, Tristan now studies under master instructor Bob Anemone. This year, he will be a member of both the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Emory Youth Symphony. He has also participated in the GMEA All-State Orchestra during his freshman and sophomore years and has served as the first violinist in his school's chamber orchestra. In 2024, he attended the Franklin Pond Chamber Music Intensive summer program.

Tristan aspires to become a professional soloist and violin instructor. He plans to audition for the National Youth Orchestra and hopes to attend the New England Conservatory, the Juilliard School, or the Curtis Institute of Music to further develop his skills. One of his dreams is to own a Guarneri del Gesù violin.
