Waverly Alexander is a junior at Milton High School. She began studying the Suzuki method of violin at the age of three with Ms. Marina Dmitriyev, drawn to the violin for its powerful and elegant sound despite its small size. Her passion for music and the violin has been a constant throughout her life. 

At the age of seven, Waverly continued her studies at the William Pu Music Academy under Mr. Patrick Ryan. She is now entering her sixth year in the Talent Development Program. She has worked with Carolyn Hancock for the past four years and is currently studying with Bob Anemone of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. 

Waverly has spent several summers attending prestigious programs such as the Interlochen Arts Academy, Franklin Pond Chamber Music, and the Brevard Music Center. She is an Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra member and regularly performs at GMEA events.
