The Classics | Honoring Black Women in Symphonic Music
Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 8pm

This event highlights the past, present, and future contributions and accomplishments of black women in classical music. The ASO honors musicians, composers, and guest soloists who have performed with the ASO through the years as well as local female educators who have laid the foundation to inspire the next generation of music lovers.

A VIP reception will be held post-concert featuring:

  • Spelman student vocalists
  • Maria Clark (Senior Voice Instructor at Spelman, Coordinator of Applied Lessons)
  • Michelle Cann will be in attendance at the reception to meet and greets with guests
