The free event will include representatives from Historically Black Colleges and Universities from across the country, so that students can explore higher education options for their academic futures.

Today, we honor the late, great Robert Shaw who, on this day in 1992, received the National Medal for the Arts for his immeasurable contributions to the global arts community. Our season-opening concert in September just went on sale! Music Director Nathalie Stutzmann begins the season with Mahler’s exultant Symphony No. 1, transforming a popular children's song with technicolor radiance.
