Join us for these special pre-concert chamber performances in Symphony Hall featuring members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Beginning the program is JS Bach's Trio Sonata from The Musical Offering, probably the pre-eminent trio sonata in musical history. Ending the program is the Trio Sonata No. 3 by Jan Dismas Zelenka which is both striking and unusual with the demands on the performers by uniting sophisticated musical designs with extreme virtuosity.

These performances are open and complimentary for all November 14 & 16 classical ticket holders.

Lauren Roth began playing violin on her 3rd birthday, and her musical journey has since brought her to us in her new role as Assistant Concertmaster! She's from Seattle, though she just moved here from Arizona where she served as Concertmaster of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and as a professor at the University of Arizona. When she’s not playing the violin, she enjoys practicing yoga and playing tennis.
