About
The ASO's UpTempo event is a dynamic preconcert session designed for middle and high schoolers. This evening, Monique Osorio, Teaching Artist, and Dr. Marie Sumner Lott, Associate Professor at Georgia State University School of Music, will delve into Beethoven's Symphonies No. 6 & 8 and discuss how the composer exemplified themes from the Romantic era by paralleling nature's beauty with human emotion. The program will feature a performance by a student musician and an interactive Q&A. After the UpTempo event, you are invited to stay for the ASO's Delta Classical Series Concert.
This event will take place in the Circle Room at the Woodruff Arts Center. The Circle Room is located on the 3rd floor of the Memorial Arts Building.
Please Note: The classical performance tickets are included with the UpTempo ticket purchase, but tickets are not distributed until the end of the UpTempo event. Attending the UpTempo event is required to secure tickets for the ASO concert.
