About
The ASO's UpTempo event is a dynamic preconcert session designed for middle and high schoolers. This evening, Jeffrey Rowser, Director of Bands at Woodward Academy, and Chris McMichen, Retired Music Educator, will delve into Beethoven's Symphonies I & III, discussing the profound impact of Beethoven's progressing hearing loss on these masterpieces. The program will feature a performance by a student musician and an interactive Q&A. After the UpTempo event, you are invited to stay for the ASO's Delta Classical Series Concert.
This event will take place in the Circle Room at the Woodruff Arts Center. The Circle Room is located on the 3rd floor of the Memorial Arts Building.
Please Note: The classical performance tickets are included with the UpTempo ticket purchase, but tickets are not distributed until the end of the UpTempo event. Attending the UpTempo event is required to secure tickets for the ASO concert.
